fear
fear doesn’t ever make a person more passionate…
it makes a person more desperate to feel passion.

Still thinking about this…
yes fear is a reactive state but as I’ve mentioned, all fear is a fear of loss, it is a reaction to events that have not, as of yet, occured. It is a reaction to possablilty.
Passion, on the other hand, is tied to experience. If someone is passionate about something they have not experienced (like say visiting Paris or some exotic land) it is because they are relating that to some experience they have had. But it would seem true passion is due to something we’ve experienced and found great pleasure in (or at least great involvement) so I guess passion is also a reactive state. Or perhaps it is reactive if it is experienced based and chosen if it is not (as in the wanting to visit Paris).
Still thinking
